Youth Alive Uganda Strategic Plan 2021 - 2025 focuses on four key result areas as exlusted below;

Key Result Area 1: Dignified and Gainful Employment

Youth Alive Uganda in partnership with her development partners aims at Increasing dignified and gainful employment opportunities for the out of school youth 18 to 24 years in both formal/informal employment, we build capacity of youth in, vocational skills, work readiness, employability skills and further facilitate Linkages to profitable markets, market infrastructure, youth friendly/affordable financial services, job/employment and enterprise development support. These trainings are enhanced with the Youth Alive Uganda Education for Life (EFL) and foundational skills sessions that are critical in preparing the young people in making informed life choices.

Our key innovation in skilling is creation of mobile vocational skilling centers, the model targets hard to reach illiterate Youth, A labor survey is conducted to identify skills gaps, the youth are then mobilized into training cohorts based on desired skills arising from identified gaps, local artisans are identified for specific required skills and trained in participatory training methodologies and youth engagement principles ,community structures are then identified and modified into fully equipped training centers were the youth are then taken through a 3 months hands on skilling conducted by local artisans and later a one month apprenticeship conducted in temporary workshops set up by trainees and supported by local artisans upon completion of the four months training program trainees are examined by Directorate of Industrial training for level One certification.

Key Result Area 2: Increase In Access Of Gov’t Services

Youth Alive Uganda success is implementation of programs that are sustainable even after funding comes ends. We aim at increasing access to Local Government youth friendly services which are more sustainable, We; conduct Gap analysis on policy implementation, we build capacity of service providers to provide youth friendly services , empower youth to demand for services, conduct focused community advocacy drives/campaigns on access and utilization of Local Government services while ensuring safety of children and youth in their community and learning environments including strengthening Parent-child relationship in their homes and communities.

Key Result Area 3: Recognized Center of Excellence

Youth Alive Uganda is accredited by recognized centers /institutions, Youth Alive Uganda received Centre number for vocational skilling by the Directorate of Industrial Training (DIT) that permits it to register our beneficiaries to sit for DIT examinations for our skilling programs, We have a fully established training department, Over the years we have built strategic partnerships with key Government Ministries, departments and agencies, likeminded organizations, networks like the World Health Organisation The Implementing Best Practice Network (IBP Network) and alliances like with the Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights Alliance (SRHR Alliance), We have a well-established resource mobilization department and we document and disseminate information of tested best practices of youth works and programs.

Key Result Area 4: Improved Sexual and Reproductive Health of Children

Youth Alive Uganda aims at increasing access to Sexual Reproductive Health information and services for the youth through provision of age appropriate , integrated, and youth responsive SRH information and services that include; SRH information and services, Linkages to psychosocial support, Promoting conducive and Facilitating enrolment and retention of HIV positive children, youth and their caregivers into HIV care and walking them through the journey of Viral Load suppression, We facilitate attitude and norms change at personal and community level that in turn improves uptake of health services.
